Restaurant Carpet
The restaurant is due for a major re-fit shortly, so when the old carpet showed some wear on the joints, we came up with a smart solution to hide them for a few months until the replacement. Overnight, contrasting strips of grey broadloom carpet were fitted into the floor, making a feature border and hiding the wear. This has enabled the hotel to extend the life of the carpet, which has allowed them to retain the original re-fit schedule and budgets.
Reception Floor
The hardwood floor of the hotel has as much traffic as a London street, and had several large holes. We designed a special jig to cut out the damaged sections and then inserted perfect Mahogany fillets to repair them. Once polished, these made a really neat solution. The work started when most guests were tucked up in bed, and was done before breakfast started.
